This show is Sydney’s biggest battle of stand-up comedians.

YOU - the audience - vote for your favourite comedians each night!

The winners get CASH and go straight to the Grand Final at the Sydney Comedy Store.

The show is every Tuesday at The Bank Hotel, Newtown (upstairs!).

Free Stand-Up Comedy Class

Learn joke-writing and how to be funnier when giving a presentation.

Taught by the Sydney Comedy School, there are six classes in total. Classes will cover:

  • Joke-telling fundamentals

  • Types of jokes 

  • Writing skills

  • And more...

The free class is 6pm-7pm.

Many people who come to the class stay for dinner/drinks and then watch the Sydney Stand-Up Comedy Championships at 7:30pm.
